Barking Dogs
Under new laws, residents will no longer have to put up
with the nuisance and disturbance caused by barking dogs. Emerald Shire
Council is responsible for administering complaints about noise from animals
on residential property.
Hours of Operation
| 7am to 10 pm |
No more than 6 minutes of noise
in any hour |
| 10pm to 7am |
No more than 3 minutes of noise
in any 30 minutes period |
The council has anti-barking collars available to hire to the residents
of Emerald Shire Council. For more information contact the Environmental
Health Department.
