Emerald Shire Council is proposing amendments to its current IPA Planning
Scheme - Planning Scheme for Emerald
Shire Volume 1, Version 1 January 2007.
The proposed amendments are currently on public display until Wednesday 26
March 2008.
The draft amended Planning Scheme can be viewed anytime on this website
during the public consultation period.

The draft amended Planning Scheme is also available for inspection and
purchase at the Council’s Office, located at 65 Egerton Street, Emerald.
Any person may, on or before
Wednesday 26 March 2008,
make a signed written submission about any aspect of the draft amended
Planning Scheme to:
The Chief Executive Officer,
Emerald Shire Council,
P.O Box 21,
Emerald, QLD 4720.
Submissions are required by the
Integrated Planning Act 1997 to:

Be made in writing and received by the Emerald Shire Council by Wednesday 26
March 2008;

State the name and address of each person making the submission including
each person’s signature; and
-
State the grounds of the submission including the facts and circumstances
relied on.
